we’re highlighting some flamers who took the silly goofy vibes on the road this summer. riot grrrl revival band t@b grrrl and psychedelic rock group Bad Static teamed up to create t@bstatic their mini U.S. tour. on their NY stop they snapped some sexy “wedding” pix w/ our red joinks.

Nico Mac, Bad Static lead singer + guitarist + t@b grrrl bassist: it’s always been an amalgamation of all my and my bandmates tastes and that goes for Gigi too! punk! garage rock! riot grrrl of course! + a dash of psychedelic for Bad Static
★ what was a typical day like on tour?
Malachi, t@b grrrl drummer: wake up, smoke weed, act like a menace, play show, melt faces, rinse + repeat.
★ what does being a flamer mean to u?
Gigi, t@b grrrl founder + lead vocalist: being a flamer means being my most authentic self 100% of the time + not caring about what anybody thinks.
★ what’s ur fav thing about ur band?
Keila, Bad Static bassist: my favorite thing about the band is the message we send through our songs.
★ what’s ur fav song to perform?
Courtney, Bad Static drummer: freak! It gives me space to do cool fills!
★ what/who are you currently obsessed w/ (like muse vibes)?
Amy, Bad Static + t@b grrrl: i'm currently obsessed with Coheed and Cambria's new album The Father of Make Believe.
★what was ur favorite part about touring with t@b static?
Jesse, t@b grrrl alternate + touring guitarist: my favorite part of touring with t@b static was that no matter what we were doing or where we were, we were all very much in the moment, enjoying each other's company + sharing our deep love of music.
