on sunday 4/20, FLAMER turned prospect park into a queer church picnic for the ages. with easter and 4/20 landing on the same day, stoners showed up in their sunday best—think lace suits, floral crowns, goth nun fits, and full camp couture.

holy slay. picnic blankets by the water, clouds of silly goofy smoke, and endless things to do: halo-making, Select vape decorating, collaging, and a wellness zone with a silent disco, sound baths by Pammy, and a guided meditation from Solonje Burnett aka Weed Auntie.

FLAMER-exclusive truffles from SASS set the mood, and Brelixi kept everyone balanced with CBD coconut water shots + lemonade. a wandering nun passed out red joinks while a hydration fairy blessed the crowd with chill sips. field day games like sack races and egg relays brought peak queer nostalgia. picture it: stoned, dressed-up queers bouncing in sacks. pure joy.

we also teamed up with Black and Pink NYC for a card-making station where guests sent love to incarcerated queer folx—because celebration and solidarity go hand in hand.
